Gallery 1988 Exhibit: Required Reading

In April, 2011 OMG Posters! and Rob Jones joined forces to curate a show called 'Required Reading' at the Gallery 1988 Melrose location. It was a collection of limited edition posters inspired by classic books. I wouldn't say it's personally my favourite exhibition, probably because I don't read as much as I should, but the concept is incredibly inviting and the fact that it is purely printed posters makes it all the more appealing. Below are a few examples of the kind of artwork that was exhibited. Ranging from Moby Dick to War of the Worlds, almost all book genres were explored.
