The way in which this publication has been produced is really inspiring. I like the idea of wrapping a book in a sheet of paper, and it not being for purely decorative purposes, but to serve a secondary purpose. In the case of my created typeface, the sheet could serve as a poster that puts the font into context. This approach would allow me to explore different stocks and trial and error the more successful options. I also like the way in which the book has been assembled, with the red spine and the embossed cardboard front and reverse covers. This is a process I really want to look at in further detail and something I am seriously considering for the resolution to my typeface brief.
